Ian Hoch has enjoyed playing a diverse range of characters since coming to New Orleans in 2002 to study drama at Loyola University; everything from a singing, dancing Bobby Jindal to a strung-out, life-weary junkie in a New York City gutter. He is a veteran improviser at The New Movement - New Orleans, appearing most often in the hybrid improv/theater send up "You Don't Know the Half of It." On screen, he has appeared in minor roles on "Treme," "Jeff, Who Lives at Home," "Hours," and "22 Jump Street" but his real love is for the stage. He has two Big Easy Award nominations to date and was named "Best Supporting Actor in a Drama" for his work in 2012's "Balm in Gilead." Ian is also a member of the Cripple Creek Theatre Co.
