"Unwinding the Universe" invites audiences into a vivid, sensory world where art and science meet. Conceived and performed by Malcolm McClay in collaboration with Jeff Becker, this multidisciplinary work blends live performance, large-scale sculpture, film, installation, and immersive sound to explore the inner landscape of neurodivergent experience. The performance unfolds through striking scenes where body, mind, and environment blur; sculptures shift; light fractures; and sound swells from silence to intensity, echoing the beauty and tension of cognitive difference.
