Francesca McKenzie is a theatre maker, educator, community organizer and yogi originally from California and now based in the Bronx. She has performed with numerous New Orleans companies such as Junebug Productions, Le Petit Vieux Carre, The NOLA Project, and Jefferson Performing Arts Society, and was also a company member of Cripple Creek Theatre Co. Past credits include Anna in Numb, Bride Love in Southern Rep's Lily's Revenge, Titania in Tulane Shakespeare Festival’s A Midsummer Nights Dream and direction for Cripple Creek Theatre Co.'s Clybourne Park. Off-Broadway: Gloria: A Life (Daryl Roth Theatre), Kenny's Tavern (59E59). Regional: Good Person of Szechwan (CalShakes), Sheddin' (Horizon Theatre), Twelfth Night (Mu Performing Arts). She has written blogs on New Orleans theater for ArtsFwd (artsfwd.org) and HowlRound (howlround.com). Francesca is a graduate of Yale School of Drama with an MFA in Acting.
